Touching the separation

It's ironic how your lips don't touch when you say "touch"; but they touch when you say "separate".

Maybe that tells us that touch and separation isn't something which is strictly physical.

Touch is a feeling. Touch is solace! When eyes make contact, souls get connected deeper into the roots. That's touch. When your heart wrenches on hearing a saddening thing, that's touch. When a mother gets happy tears for her child, that's touch. The invisible bond between souls keep us in "touch".

Maybe separation is just not about  being apart. Separation can be defined as being physically apart but mentally connected. No matter how physically apart we grow,we are always connected to people through the memories .
And that's touch even when physically separated.

There are times when you wander off even in the company of someone. You feel the touch physically but you are disconnected emotionally. The bond no longer persists.

And that's how separate we can be even when physically in touch.

The next time maybe you'll touch the separation, won't you?

Certainty

Stand in the darkness yearning for light, Take a few steps forward, swallowed by fright Keep moving on with all your might Oh what I see—is it a ray of light? Run FAST. End this despair. Light warming me as I get there. One more step and I will be out, Body freezes as my heart shouts   “Why can’t I escape?” I hear darkness whisper: You call me comfort, I call it certainty. The light may be what you want, but to darkness you cling. -AS

A pledge

It is extremely disheartening learning about Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. It came as a complete shock to us all. He not only left the world, but left something behind for each of us - a thought to ponder upon the mental health awareness in the nation. Money and fame doesn't mean the person is leading a happy peaceful life. A person undergoing a psycho therapy is automatically considered as a " crazy person". This brings shame to the person suffering. Do we even realize that there must be number of people who are scared to seek help just because they are afraid of being judged by the " sane people". We are all at fault. We as a society are responsible for making these people suffer more. The mentality needs to change. Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc are NOT to be taken lightly. "Sleep over it. You'll feel fine in the morning" - is NOT the solution for it. Age, gender, profession, status, fame are  NOT  the parameters t...

The Recap

Have you Ever wondered what must be happening after we die? Its said that our whole life flashes before our eyes.Imagine it's true and that you are getting the recap of  your life.Probably all that we will see is running the "Rat Race".An unending loop of the boring routine we wake up to each day.Somewhere between shuffling jobs, earning more money,we all are living a plastic life.Wouldn't you be bored to be watching the infinite loop of living the same routine?Would'nt you want to get a nice last recap of your life?Yes!!Probably quiting the rat race is not the required solution, obviously you gotta think about your daily bread. But make sure to take a little time off for yourself, love yourself, spend some time alone, love the people around you, spread the happiness by sharing joys, well then maybe the recap will leave a footprint in your heart forever.Afterall,it's the blessings that stay with us in the parallel world. -AS Photo courtesy : https://google.c...
